1. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by ScanXConcrete ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our services, you ("client," "you," or "your") agree to these terms.
2. Services Provided
- ScanXConcrete scans concrete with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to locate rebar, post-tension cables, grade beams, conduit and other objects embedded within concrete.
- We do not offer underground utility locating in soil or beneath slabs.
3. What's Included
- Every scan includes a basic marked layout of our findings, marked on site directly on the concrete.
- A written PDF scan report is available on request for an added fee.
4. Service Delivery
- Services are provided based on the scope and timeline agreed in your quote.
- Clients must provide accurate information and access to the site.
- Any changes to the project scope or timeline must be communicated and may result in additional charges.
5. GPR Limitations
- GPR is not 100% accurate. Results depend on site and material conditions. Please review our Statement of Limitations before drilling, coring, or cutting.
6. Payment Terms
- Payment is due on completion of the work.
- Balances unpaid more than 30 days accrue interest of 1.5% per month, or the maximum rate allowed by law if that is lower.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- You can cancel or reschedule for free with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled time.
- If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, if no one is on site when we arrive, or if we cannot get access to the scan area, a trip fee per your quote applies.
8. Site Conditions
- If site conditions prevent scanning, such as no access to the area, standing water, or surface conditions GPR can't read through, only the trip fee per your quote applies.
9. Refunds
- Once services have been rendered, no refunds are issued.
- If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
10. Liability
- ScanXConcrete is fully insured and takes reasonable precautions to perform services safely and accurately.
- We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from inaccurate information provided by the client or unforeseen site conditions.
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.
11. Confidentiality
- We keep client information and project details confidential and do not share them with third parties without the client's consent, except with the service providers that run our website and email, as described in our privacy policy.
12. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Texas, USA.
- Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Texas, USA.
13. Amendments
- ScanXConcrete may update these terms. The terms posted on this page when you book apply to that job.
